Explore the story or emotion behind the fear or the reason why you are put off.
What previous experience is evoking these emotions? Become aware of it.
How can you set yourself up for success in this task/goal/action?
Who can you ask or employ for support?
Be kind to yourself. Create the support your need into order to enable you to achieve your goal.
For example: I was always chosen last to be on sports teams. I decided to run a marathon. Despite my belief, from my previous experience, that: “I am no good at sports”. I joined a running club and gym. My personal trainer designed a running-specific training programme for me. I felt supported and encouraged to pursue my goal. I bought new running gear to feel good and adequately prepared as I trained. After completing my 1st marathon, my “I am not sporty” belief was disbanded.
You are able to transform an idea into a tangible event that enables you to re-programme your old subconscious story. Freeing you to feel victorious in other areas of your life too!
