Looking at the person staring back at me with a neutral look on their face. What is your mirror face? Neutral, smile or frown?
Do you pull faces at yourself in the mirror? Or is that something you only did as a child?
It wasn’t until attending a Face-Yoga workshop that I realised that I don’t use my face muscles as much as I thought.
Yes, you talk, smile and frown. But do you puff your cheeks? Do you isolate the muscles around your eyes and exercise them without moving your forehead?
Language plays an important part in exercising your face too! Some languages require less muscle tone than others or exercise different face muscles.
Unless you are consciously aware of your facial muscles, their use or lack of use goes unnoticed.
What parts of you are you not using? What untapped potential is stagnating within you?
What are the gems looking back in the mirror just waiting for their own time to shine?
