Wandering or is it wondering, around the house and the garden last night. It was already dark due to the time difference. Attending the first Virtual Street Wisdom Event was enlightening.
In the past Street Wisdom required you to walk around the area to gain insight or an answer to a question you have.
Sounds bizarre, especially if you are familiar with the area. What could this familiar place reveal to you about a challenge you have?
The concept of starting where you are and using what you have to answer a question may not make sense. Because, how can you find a solution with the same mindset that created it?
Street Wisdom encourages you to adopt a beginners mind-set. Thus, enabling you to view things differently, as if you were seeing them for the first time or in a different light (in my case, darkness with a bit of moonlight).
For example, you may have seen grass a million times before. Have you noticed the patterns within the grass or the network that connects the grass or how the individual blades of grass are formed or how dew settles on the tips of it?
It is astonishing what comes up when you tune in and are open to possibilities, even within a familiar environment.
This was the 3rd time I have made use of Street Wisdom, and it never ceases to amaze me what reveals itself to you. Especially if you are open to it.
Whether it is wonder or wander, you decide. Personally, I believe Street Wisdom makes use of both.
