Boxes!
Loads of boxes!
Over the holiday period, I have been helping a friend sort through their house.
After years of accumulating various things, it was time to have a good clear
out – sorting the unwanted items into recycling or charity donating boxes.
There were many.
Out with the old and in with the new, or not. Do you really need so much stuff?
Or is it just out with the old and creating capacity and openness for the new.
As you embark on a new year, take time out to discard what you no longer need.
Not just ‘stuff’ that clutters your environment but also the old beliefs and
ideas that clutter your mind and perception. Those beliefs that no longer serve
you or that are holding you back.
Like the belief that you can’t live your passion, that you aren’t good enough
to be who you want to be, or that you still have to do something in order to be
acceptable to be others. You already have everything you need inside you. All
you need to do is be quiet and listen.
It is your mind that distorts your mirror.
Don’t believe every thought that pops into your head. You are
far more beautiful than you give yourself credit for. You are way more capable
than you ever could have dreamed. You really are!
Making New Year’s resolutions are great but as you do so don’t forget to strip away all that you no
longer need. For every resolution you make, help yourself by getting rid of
something that will free you to live a life far greater than you ever imagined.
Happy New Year!
