Have you ever been so angry that you want to scream and shout at the top of your voice and rattle someone? When Bella ripped your beautiful clothes that have sentimental value to you (insert your own example here). You feel you are going insane. Its normally out of complete frustration!!!
Society tells us to be calm and not get angry. I disagree, it’s important to show your emotions. Perhaps not to vent your frustration to the point of murder, but close enough will do – just kidding!
There are certain cultures that are good at venting their feelings, like the Mediterranean’s. They shout and scream and wave their hands about. If you have to mute the screaming match, it is often quite entertaining to watch the animation.
So what is the point of you having all this anger? What does it do for you? For starters, it helps release the emotions that has been building and boiling inside.
How can you make it work for you? Anger is a feeling that you can use to generate change. So it helps you to not want to feel so frustrated. To try and work out how you can make sure that the situation doesn’t happen again.
Anger gives you the ability to focus on a specific task and it gives you the confidence to do that task.
So next time you feel your blood boiling help yourself by using it to focus on something specific that you want to do as the confidence is there to help you achieve it.
