Hello, You Beautiful Being!
I don’t know about you but being away for a few days, I got out of my daily Tabata exercise routine. For the last few months, I’d been doing Tabata every day. Yes, every day.
Tabata only takes 4 minutes – the time it takes you to go to the loo. So I feel that there is absolutely no reason why I can’t do it every day.
They say that you should complete your Tabata routine 4 times, which equates to 16 minutes which isn’t a long time but I don’t. I only do 4 minutes per day.
It may sound crazy to only do four minutes but it does work.
When do you get fit? You start exercising and is it two days later that you become fit or a month or two months? After doing Tabata for several weeks, I started increasing the intensity and did the routine for 8 minutes because I wanted to and my fitness level had increased.
Becoming fit does not just happen on a random day. It takes time.
Consistency is key. Being disciplined and consistent will help you achieve your goal. By doing a little bit every day is what gets you closer to your goal. Regardless if it’s fitness or eating well or building your dream or working on your relationship or finishing that book you started writing.
As they say here in Africa: How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. By consistently doing a tiny bit every day will get you to your goal. It is about taking those action steps.
If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. Goals can be overwhelming. You know what you would like to do but you don’t always know how to get there. I can help you to get there.
