Can you be you and only you for an entire day?
It may seem like an odd question but in a world that has been taken over by technology and devices, who are you without your phone or various devices? Michael McIntyre eloquently highlights our dependence on mobile devices.
There are several articles about having a tech detox and its many benefits such as improved sleep, better posture, deeper friendships, new perspectives, and enhanced memory.
Initially, it was recommended that you switch off your devices for an entire day but there is an alternative of having more health daily habits which could include having a second low tech phone where you can still be contacted in emergencies.
The truth is you are not a copy-paste version of anyone else or anything you can find on the internet, you are unique. There is a reason you are here. If you weren’t here the world would be missing something.
Who are you without your phone? Can you remember? Are you still connected to that person?
Do you take time out every day to be still?
